My story
My name is Michał. I'm 43 years old and I live in Wrocław, Poland. I'm a father of three wonderful boys and Marta's husband. Just back in October 2025, I lived a peaceful, joyful life.
In November 2025, I received a diagnosis that turned my life upside down: MALIGNANT Stomach Cancer. I was overwhelmed by sadness and fear. Then came disbelief. I needed a few weeks to pull myself together; Marta and my friends helped me through it! Now I live with the conviction that I will recover. I don't have a ready solution, and neither do the doctors, but we're learning and finding treatment options.
My treatment will require expensive tests, procedures, and rehabilitation. Some of them aren't covered by insurance. I'm afraid I won't be able to work soon. That's why I'm reaching out to you — my friends, acquaintances, and kind-hearted people - asking for help.
